David Perkins wears many hats as his passion have birthed many different departments and movements at New Life. David is the Prayer Pastor and leads the Tuesday night Revial Town prayer meetings. In addition, David spearheads Desperation, a national effort to mobilize a generation to live in desperate pursuit of God. David is also the founder and director of a collegiate house of prayer called theFurnace, as well as the Desperation Leadership Academy (DLA). David is passionate about effective discipleship and diligent prayer being established within the local church, and in youth ministries across the nation.

David joined the New Life staff in June of 2000 after obtaining a degree in religion from Southern Nazarene University. His wife, Renata, leads women’s discipleship within theFurnace and spends most of her time caring for their three children, Dawson, Alivia, and Adelyn.



This blog colorfully retells the story of what we corporately experience each week at Revival Town, including answers to prayers and praise reports. Posts go up each Wednesday afternoon, and help you to stay connected if you missed a week!



Michelle Vette is the Associate Prayer Pastor at New Life Church. Michelle has a passion to see people connected with the love of God through prayer and study of the Scriptures. She also loves music, art, reading, gardening, hiking, running, and playing soccer and ultimate Frisbee!

Michelle graduated from the University of Colorado in 2001 with her BA in psychology, and is will complete her MBA from the University of Colorado in the Spring of 2009. In her years at New Life, Michelle has also worked closely with the student leadership academies at New Life Church as well as the Thorn.
